E-mail alert DBA_AUDIT_TRAIL

Hello,

Oracle 10g 10.2.0.4 on Linux.

I enabled some auditing of events to the sys.aud$ table (audit_trail = DB_EXTENDED).
Is it possible to configure some sort of e-mail alerting so I receive a mail when new information is added to the sys.aud$ table ? Should I create a trigger on this table or is this not supported by Oracle ?
