Maybe you just don't have enough caffeine in the system when making some of the replies here.

If you experienced oracle warnings and errors during the install ( from the admin script ) such as the ones you posted ... it means that it was already installed.

Why don't you check out idevelopment and look at Jeffrey Hunters examples of text searching if you aren't motivated enough to actually read the real oracle doc?

Alternatively post the complete test case that you are working on that you are convinced doesn't work or doesn't work fast enough including the scripts ... outputs ... explain plans or 10046 trace output put thru something like orasrp etc ... Received on Tue Dec 09 2008 - 07:28:48 CST
