Help: Ungrading OS

Dear group,

Currently we have Oracle 10.2.0.3 on RedHat linux AS 3.0, we need to upgrade our RedHat linux from 3.0 to 4.0.

Will this OS upgrade cause any problem to our DB, software?

Do I need to re-install our software? Will my datafile affected any by this upgrade?

This is very important system, I need 100% safe.

Your help is highly appreciated.

By the way, we are using regular file for our datafile, not ASM
