Oracle Apps 11i DB platform migration

Hey all:
Has anyone performed a database migration for Oracle Apps 11i(11.5.10), from Solaris to AIX(Sol 10 to Aix 5.3)? Or even Solaris to another platform? The DB version could be 9.2 to 9.2, 9.2 to 10.2, or, 10.2 to 10.2. For 9.2 source db, the only way to do it is to exp/imp. Any gotcha's you ran into? Testing it, I ran into one regarding types and the id's of them during validation of them. Did anything have to be done for the apps logon process?
