Hi David,
Hmm...
First, I scanned my whole disk for files of pattern "cli*.trc", but no such.
Second, I wonder... if it were the case as you say here, what is then the purpose of the parameters I listed above, and when/ how are they used?
They are described in pages 5-3 and 5-24ff of the "Net Services Reference 10g":

I would expect these parameters to change the default behaviour?
