JFS2 CIO (concurrent i/o) & RMAN backup files

Hello,
Does anyone have good or bad experience storing RMAN backup files & datapump files with CIO enabled jfs2 file systems on AIX 5.3 & Oracle 10gR2? Is that supported? Metalink and IBM documents are not very clear about these files... i.e. it does not say anywhere it's supported or not supported.. So asking here..
