Problems with 10g Express Edition on Linux

Hi all,
Oracle 10g Express Edition on Suse 10.3 Linux, KDE 3.5.7
Downloaded the RPM and installed ok.
Following the 'get started' instructions and one of the first steps is to click on the 'Go to Database Home Page' option in the Oracle Menu.
When I do this Firefox opens and attempts to open
However, rather than opening anything Firefox returns a 'Unable to connect' page as if it is offline.
Any ideas?
