iozone results in Ops per sec.:

File size set to 1048576 KB
        SYNC Mode.
OPS Mode. Output is in operations per second.
        Command line used: iozone -s 1G -o -O ľa
        Time Resolution = 0.000001 seconds.
Processor cache size set to 1024 Kbytes.
Processor cache line size set to 32 bytes.
File stride size set to 17 * record size.

(reformatted to fit in thread)

KB reclen write rewrite read reread
1048576 4 1137 6060 435967 443699

random random bkwd record stride
  read write read rewrite read
338858 196 372847 5931 347802

fwrite frewrite fread freread
114640 275357 415004 421659

Same results, now IO (kB) per sec:

File size set to 1048576 KB
        SYNC Mode.
Command line used: iozone -s 1G -o ľa
        Output is in Kbytes/sec
        Time Resolution = 0.000001 seconds.
Processor cache size set to 1024 Kbytes.
Processor cache line size set to 32 bytes.
File stride size set to 17 * record size.

KB reclen write rewrite read reread
1048576 4 4555 23142 1754354 1763106

 random random bkwd record stride
   read write read rewrite read
1359664 792 1505953 23886 1418226

fwrite frewrite fread freread
478208 1085900 1620786 1659223

Actually, quite bad in writes... 4555 kBytes/sec?!?
