Hello there,
I need to run quite tricky sql statements on two different databases from a windows server. One DB is on oracle9, the other on oracle10.
Which client would you use/prefer if not installing both?
I guess that the program running the statements will use the integrated variables and I cant define two ORACLE_HOME on the system, can I?
Some feedbacks I got was that you should always use the latest client which should be backward compatible, and others would consider that the v10 DB should take in charge a connection from a v9 client and handle it as required.
Any opinion on this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you by advance for your help.
