Products or features?

Oracle 11g is a great, new upgrade to a fine product. The release contains many new, useful features including the ability to replay a database workload, committed transaction backout, and numerous small feature improvements such as the ability to create a trigger in a disabled state (create now but put in effect later).

It is only a matter of time before Oracle and other vendors modify their products to take advantage of some of these new features. My guess is that most vendors are at least 18 to 36 months behind in making use of new features.
