Not able to access Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g from client Machine

Hi
I want to access Oracle Enterprise Manager of 10g from the client machine(Windows Xp).
Server operating system: hp ux 11i rac clustered environment Database version - 10g 10.2.0.3.0
I started the dbconsole using 'EMCTL start dbconsole'. It started successfully. Now when i try to connect to that through the web browser from client machine using 'http://<host-name>:1158/em' i get dns server error.
So i tried 'http://<ip address of host>:1158/em' tcp error - Operation timed out.
What could be the problem?
