I appreciate your reply. I will revisit that. At the moment I assume a lot of things and I am new to the organisation so I am trying to find my bearings at the moment.

Historically, I know that the reporting solutions are based on MS Access Reports and ODBC. The bottomline is we can "see" the database but I dont think we can "change" the data structure. Therefore, pulling the information out using ODBC I suppose do not do any harm. i might be wrong but I will double check the license.

Assuming that there is no license implications, do you think my proposed solution above is technically feasible?
