Which db link, did you say? A, A or ... A?

Set global_names to true - it forces you to use sensible names for db links.

Synonyms, anywhere - public, perhaps?
Procedures pointing to objects in other schemas? And please patch your 9i to something supported, like 9.2.0.7 or better
