This is getting strange.

I created a copy of the table so I could work in my own schema. It took almost 20 minutes to copy 171,000 rows. When I ran the query in my schema it ran in 11 seconds..

Even though the statistics said they were current, we reanalyed the table. Now everything seems to be working.

We had the exact same issue with a table on a different RAC, but we had to drop and recreate the table before a query would run normally.
