upgrade 10.1. to 10.2

I am going through a test run on upgrading an oracle DB fropm 10.1. to 10.2 on a Windows 2003 server. I peform all of the steps discussed in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14238/upgrade.htm#i1011982

I am usinbg the DBUA to upgrade and when it gets to the section UPgrading the EM repository I get the error ora-00904: "B" output_bytes_per_sec_display: invalid identifer. If I then click ignore it then gives me the error message, ORA-00904: OS_storage_entity: invalid identifer. It then gives me the error message table or view does not exist.
