No, but I wonder if you are doing this for your own personal gratification or what. Since you have to take a hands-on course, I wonder if you might as well start from scratch. On the other hand, the upgrade requirement seems to be a working knowledge of 8i, as opposed to 8i certification... ?

I'd suggest emailing them and ask if there is anything you can do with your current cert to upgrade, with the caveat that anything they tell you can be wrong, and tough luck if they do steer you wrong. You might look at old oracle magazine ocp articles http://www.oracle.com/technology/oramag/oracle/ocp/index.html to find peoples' emails (which may point towards the same one from the ocp page...).

Also note the New Features guides for all versions since 8 may be available online, and are probably worth checking out regardless, if you haven't used any new features since 8.0.
