character set conversion error

Hi,



I need to let Database X which has charset AR8ISO8859P6 to retrieve data 
over dblink from database Y which has charset UT8.



I am getting the following error.



ERROR at line 1:


ORA-02068: following severe error from B.oracle
ORA-24365: error in character conversion



any idea or work around to solve the problem without changing the 
character set of database X.
