Come on, guys, http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/backup.102/b14192/glossary.htm#sthref879 , you can search the metalink knowledgebase for "logical backup" with the quotes. If you are going to argue semantics, you need to account for Oracle's usage. And you need to tell me what is the magical thing I do that lets me keep table data so I can get it back after I wipe it out.
