So why don't you take the offer that has been made for you to become a guest lecturer at the University of Washington and demonstrate your proficiency in just one of these products?

The truth is that you hang out at c.d.theory because it is a great place to pontificate without ever having to demonstrate any actual ability. Sort of like the difference between studying philosophy and physics in school.
