First question is why? There are things like CentOS and Whitebox Linux which are free and Linux compatible.
Furthermore, I would try forums.oracle.com and ask there. Do *_not_* (from what I can see) ask "How do I...", but rather ask "Has anyone out there done it, and if so, how?". Many of the answers to "How do I" questions seem to be merely instructions to install Linux compatibility mode with little other help.

The exact text and/or number of error messages is useful (!= "it didn't work!"). Thanks. Furthermore, as a courtesy to those who spend time analysing and attempting to help, please do not top post.Received on Tue Jun 26 2007 - 09:02:43 CDT
