hehe caused a bit of a stir here , didn't mean to it was just a throw away comment.

The post was meant to be a seed, not a fully fledged solution, hence absence of indexes etc... unfortunately there aren't enough hours in the day for me to post justification (ala Kimballs excellent DW book). In fact I have found that its not just DW's, and reporting that benefit from Calendar_Dates I have used it in many complex manufacturing processes and its proved to be invaluable. Not clutter, not a kludge a core table (which when maintained properly) becomes invaluable to the function of the business.

I love inline views - but would rather join to a table ;-)
