Oracle 9i is way old, and will be desupported in 6 weeks. So that's the reason why you don't see Solaris 9: it just didn't exist when Oracle 9i was released.

Oracle 10g only exists in a 64 bit version. You seem to be in a dead ally.

That said, the certification matrix on Metaklink shows 9i is certified for Solaris 9.
