All,

I have a 3 node 10.2.0.3.0 cluster with 4 databases running across all nodes. On reboot of the nodes, some instances are not starting. My question is what determines the startup order, and how long is the delay between each startup. I'm running on RHEL4u5. Here is the output from a manual startup of a single instance.

trac101:templar1:/home/oracle>srvctl start instance -d rpg -i rpg3 PRKP-1001 : Error starting instance rpg3 on node trac103 CRS-1028: Dependency analysis failed because of: CRS-0223: Resource 'ora.rpg.rpg3.inst' has placement error. trac101:templar1:/home/oracle>srvctl start instance -d rpg -i rpg3 PRKP-1001 : Error starting instance rpg3 on node trac103 CRS-1028: Dependency analysis failed because of: CRS-0223: Resource 'ora.rpg.rpg3.inst' has placement error.
