Our databases run on the HP-UX platform and I've seen something similar on very rare occasions.

I was able to fix it by relinking (recreating) the "oracle" object file. Never really sure what the root cause ever was. Could have been due to an earlier patch that never mentioned that a relink was mandatory.

Not sure what the syntax would be to "relink" in Windows. My expertise is Unix-oriented. Certainly worth a shot.
