Oracle DBA permanent postion announcement

PITech Solutions is actively seeking an Oracle DBA for its client in Durham, NC. This is a permanent position requiring someone with 6+ years Oracle DBA experience working in a UNIX Sun Solaris and RedHat Linux environment with perhaps some exposure to Oracle on Windows servers as well.

I'd like to get the word out to this select technical community and would appreciate any input you might provide in that regard. If this is something you feel you are qualified for please let us know, and of course feel free to refer any colleagues you would care to recommend.

A successful candidate will have worked with broad array to technologies to include:

· Experience in both logical and physical database design and
application SQL and Oracle RDBMS tuning in 3-tier architecture.
· Oracle 9.2, Oracle 10.1.x
· Veritas Cluster Server
· Network Appliance (NetApp) snapshot copy and snapshot restore
· Unix scripting languages - Korn shell, bash shell ,Perl
· PL/SQL with good SQL coding skills
· Oracle DataGuard - Physical Standby database
· Oracle DataGuard - Logical Standby database
· JDBC and ODBC
· Stored Procedures
· Multi Threaded Server
· Database import / export
· Oracle Real Application Cluster (RAC)
· Distributed processing using database links
o Rsync and Ssh/scp

Other helpful knowledge to have includes:
· Cold Fusion Application server
· WebLogic Application server
· Apache Web server
· PostgreSQL
· MySQL
· VBA (Visual Basic for Applications)
· Embarcadero Suite (DBArtisan, ERStudio)

MUST be U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder.
