How so? I look at http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/html/B12146_01/over.htm#sthref36 and I just don't see ASCII as a target. But I'm willing to be educated. I generally don't think of ETL tools as the fastest way to manipulate data, though I can see it as often the fastest way to generate many transformations. I suspect the OP's requirement has been lost in the thread...
