??? - it actually is "offline" (not opened) right now. And, until you restored the previous backup, it will stay that way.

What datafile is corrupted (as the db crashed ("shutdown abort"?), I suspect your system tablespace - you're hosed if it is!)?

You could take that offline, and subsequently take the tablespace offline.
