Hi,
I am a newbie to Oracle and need some help. I have Oracle client installed on one m/c and server on another. The comm between two is fine using SQLPlus.

But there is no exp command available in ora92/bin at client installation. So I added Oracle server's exp path on client machine and am trying to export the database but its failing. Is it possible to do so?

Following is the command I am trying to use: exp ${user}/${pass}@$instance_name parfile=principal.par

I need to run exp from client machine only.

Please help on how can I achieve this??

Thanks a lot!! Received on Mon Mar 05 2007 - 23:32:38 CST
