First, PL/SQL is not a scripting language.

Yes, it is a proprietary Oracle language, although I believe some other RDBMSs such as Postgres and Fyracle attempt some sort of emulation. It's not a pack you can download for SQL Server. Received on Mon Feb 19 2007 - 04:55:07 CST
