Thanks for the reply.

I am not sure xp is certified for 8i and I would love to find proof that it isn't. This way our client would be willing to upgrade. But, until I provide the proof we must find a solution for this environment. We never had a problem with the older machines, now that they are upgrading all the machines to xp we have lots of problems.
