Metalink notes 1921532.8, 178232.1 refer to 16155 trace. I did not have that trace event set when I was running 8.1.7.3, although I was not running Oracle on a Unix operating system.

Log_buffer = 15MB - performance tuning books ("Oracle Performance Tuning 101" by Gaja Vaidyanatha, and other books) essentially state that a log_buffer larger than 1MB is rarely useful.

processes = 335, sessions = 335 makes more sense than does processes = 50, sessions = 50

parallel_min_servers = 10 - seems rather high, unless the server has many CPUs.

You are limiting your log file size to 50 * db block size:   max_dump_file_size = 50

Once a full log file is obtained, and you have fixed the above, see if the following Metalink document applies:   Note:285991.1

There is an ORA-600 error lookup tool on Metalink.
