I finally received a response from Oracle. Good luck to any one else experiencing ORA-07445 error after applying patch 9 on 10.2.0.2:

UPDATE

Hi Charles,

Without a testcase I cannot draw a conclusion as this should be investigated by the Development. Since the problem have not occur ed anymore after changing the parameters:

optimizer_features_enable='10.2.0.1'
_optimizer_undo_cost_change='10.1.0.4'
query_rewrite_enabled='FALSE'
cursor_sharing='EXACT'

a workaround which you have discovered I am inactivating this SR. If the problem reproduce within the next two weeks please update the SR. After the specified period of two weeks you have the option to open a new SR.

STATUS

Inactivated -- Issue Resolved

I waited 23 days for the issue to be resolved, somehow I feel that I did not receive a solution.
