Do you have more than 1 cpu on this system? Then it's easy to get more cpu seconds than in an hour of clock time.

Most well performing oracle systems should be cpu limited. It's a sign they are doing work.

It's hard to get much out of a few lines of statspack and you don't want to extrapolate too far but it looks like a fairly normal system to me.

You can't get detail out of an aggregate.

Are people happy and satisfied with the performance? What business processes are running slow. Those are important types of questions. Received on Thu Dec 07 2006 - 16:23:59 CST
