Well, the lecturer apparently uses Scott's schema. The students may very well be familiar with its definition.

The missing information is provided by "(Choose two.)"

I dont like either that kind of questions, but then I don't see off-hands how else to check that people are aware of the peculiarities of DATE's default format.
