unfortunately no. i queried this and several other views using sqlplus or EM but these stats don't show any anomalies. maybe the 1s sampling interval is too coarse or the reason for the delay is not accounted for some reason. some time ago i noticed that every time a new flashback log was written the time needed to save a business transaction went up. unfortunately i haven't found a way to monitor the creation/overwriting of flashback logs (besides from selecting v$asm_files in a loop). for now i'm tapping in the dark and hoped, a sql trace would shed some light on the issue or at least would show what's _not_ the problem but it didn't work.
