Mogens has been less than thrilled with RAC for years and the RAC Pack is less than thrilled with Mogens: I should care? I like and respect both of them.
UKOUG is not Oracle and Mogens is one of the most enjoyable people in front of a SQL prompt, or an audience, or anywhere else for that matter.
Given you constantly flogging Hewlett Packard (hpux...) you really ought to reconsider the stone throwing. Every time I post anything promoting a user group event, whether it was Jonathan Lewis coming to Seattle in April or Portland in October I always do it in c.d.o.marketplace. Always. And before you jump on the above references ... those events are over. If you want to find out about other promos you will find them in c.d.o.marketplace ... where they belong.
Spam is quite clearly defined ... and putting an attribution under a signature is not spam. Now about that dinner in B'ham? The offer is still open ... buy a ticket and I'll see you there.
