I wouldn't want to be the DBA oncall after you upgrade all of your 65 production databases at once. As with all upgrades, the optimizer is going to behave differently and may cause performance problems which will have to be addressed. I've never ever seen a test database behave exactly the same as the production version. The environmets are never the same so unless these 65 databases are of no importance to anyone, I would only upgrade one at a time. Received on Thu Oct 26 2006 - 13:17:26 CDT
