Export 8.05 ----> 7.3.4

I am trying to create an export file from my oracle server (8.0.5) to be loaded on a 7.3.4 server

I already run the catexp7.sql script but when i use the 7.3.4 exp tool on my server i get the following messages

EXP-00008: ORACLE error 12705 encountered
ORA-12705: invalid or unknown NLS parameter value specified
EXP-00000: Export terminated unsuccessfully

(The exp tool of 8.0.5 runs with out problems)

Any help it would be greatly appreciated.
