Congratulations! You just exposed your db to the world! I timed out trying to reach it, but think that might have been the firewall at my end. RULE: *NEVER* expose a fully qualified host name or IP address when posting your TNSNAMES. While we need details and exact cut-n-paste text for most problem solving we generally don't need host names or IP addresses or passwords. These should always be masked.
A few years ago, someone made the same mistake, but their domain was '.mil'. Quite a furor that he had exposed a database on a military computer. When called on it, he was rather blithe about it, claiming we didn't have enough information to do anything, whereupon another participant promptly demonstrated that we *did* have enough information.
