Yes Sir, I did install oracle 9i in same Oracle Base. and user had ora_dba privs from starting. It is not RAC simple oracle database. In Parameter File remote_pass. is NONE.
so password file should not create any problem but still I am not able to connect sys without password. As well as when I connect to sys with password and issue the command
Startup nomount
it is giving error "Insuff. Privs."
I know it is strange but I do know what to on this condition. even it is not accepting new parameters like db_cache_size as I told. Received on Tue Aug 29 2006 - 12:38:36 CDT
