During Installing Oralce 9il It throw Error

Hi all,

I am trying to install Oracle9i on Windows2003. I am getting the error "Thrown when the IP address of a host cannot be determined". I am getting before the Universal Installer installs anything, i.e., when I select standard edition and select standard database as my database option and click Next, it is giving this error.

Is this because I am trying to install Oracle9i on a standalone machine? I am installing it at my home PC where I do not have a network card, hence I cannot specify a IP address for my PC. Is this the reason?
Or Do I need to Install Anything else

Please help.
