Thank for your reply.

I have the similar response from quest:
Compression can be done with SSH. Since SharePlex support SSH and SSH support compression and encryption, we indirectly will support it. We need to do more tests to find out compression ratio based on our data.

BTW, we do use VPN on public WAN.:)
