Seriously, it takes time for the people who produce the various installation guides to get the various Oracle releases to work under them, if they'll work at all. Remember, that's a volunteer effort and it's really a benefit to us all that these folks even do this because it can be a real pain.

If you can't find an installation guide for the Fedora Core 5, then go for one that is tried and tested under Fedora Core 4. A couple of us sent you URLs previously. Here, once again, is one that appears to do Fedora Core 4:

Once you get there, just do a search on the page for FC4.
