I'm not 100% clear on what you're saying here, but Oracle does have some installation guide for various flavors of Linux. Now the Fedora Core is a hobbyist/cutting edge version, if I remember correctly. You might be able to get away with using the installation instructions for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4.x. Try this location and look through some of the installation guides and see if they give you any help:

This one may help you also. Note that on this particular page, Fedora Core 4 is listed as UNSUPPORTED up at the top, but if you search on FC4, you'll see what the author did to make it work.
