Jury is still out on Fedora 5. It works on Fedora Core 4 but Fedora Core 5 has had many problems with Oracle. I have had Oracle running on Fedora Core 4 for 1 year and so far it was been stable.

Oracle doesn't officially support Fedora. They support the major distros like Redhat.
