To me "common sense" would dictate that if I understood no English, then I should post in a language that I do understand in the hope that a fellow speaker will find my post and answer in the language that I understand.

Sybrand's remarks could have been better put - i.e. something like "you do know that round here most people know/use English and you'd stand a better chance of getting an answer if you used English", though, maybe the guy just doesn't have any. He can post here using any language he likes.

When asking database related questions, please give other posters 
some clues, like operating system, version of db being used and DDL.
The exact text and/or number of error messages is useful (!= "it didn't work!").
