Hi ,

I myself actually is not an expert in DW. This is something I would like to learn too(so far no time yet).

  1. you want to learn as DW developer? (probably has to learn the star-schema and some ETL tool like Informatica or Ascential).
  2. you want to learn as DW Oracle dba? (this one is hard to learn).
  3. I think taking a basic datawarehouse class from some university's extension is good.
  4. Learn the different schema in DW like what is star-schema and how it work.

There is a lot more than these.

I think other Oracle experts in this group probably could give more guide line to you
than me.

Actually, the best way to learn is being "force to do it". If you could find a junior level job in this field really help.

Dominica
