        I have top to bottom database systems experience on various platforms. I don't just delegate the details like many dbas have the luxury of doing.

        Even an NFS mount to a NetApp (a dubious choice at best) will include RAC specific gotchas. Based on Oracle IO recommendation, any NFS solution is going to be woefully inadequate for DW.

        In a room full of people that actually have deployed RAC, NFS (even the netapp branded variety) typically doesn't come up.
