Jobs in Oracle Enterprise Manager

I'm confused.  I created a Job in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) that
runs successfully.  This job does not appear in the DBA_JOBS view.



When I submit a job in sqlplus using DBMS_JOB, it doesn't appear in the
Jobs pane in OEM.



Is the Job functionality in OEM not the same as the job functionality
in the database managed by DBMS_JOB?
