Hi

I have the following starnge behavior
why the select returns one rows
while the select in the IN is in error

SQL> select * from (select 1 a from dual) a where a in (select a from (select 1 b from dual) b);

         A

         1

SQL> select a from (select 1 b from dual); select a from (select 1 b from dual)

       *
ERREUR la ligne 1 :
ORA-00904: "A": invalid identifier

How can you explain that ?

Thanks for your help ... Received on Wed May 17 2006 - 14:40:57 CDT
